Join us in Dubai on 24 January 2011 for a Special Chambers' Reception

Seven Members of Chambers will be in Dubai from 23 to 25 January 2011.

Andrew Mitchell QC will be speaking at the C5 conference 'Fraud, Asset Tracing and Recovery in the Middle East' on the topic of 'Bribery and Corruption'.

We are holding a reception for UK, US and Arab law firms in the early evening of 24 January at a central Dubai location.

We are looking forward to seeing a number of colleagues who have already confirmed that they are joining us.

For anyone else in Dubai next week who would like to join Chambers and a number of the international firms working in the DIFC, Arbitration Courts and further afield in the GCC, please email Martin Adams who will be happy to provide more details.

Our Tribunal, ADR and Specialist Advocacy Work

Members of chambers provide specialist advocacy services, strategic advice and support to corporations and individuals facing investigation by regulators and law enforcement authorities both in the UK and overseas. This is particularly so regarding criminal and regulatory investigations by the FSA, SEC, OFT, and Competition Commission.

In a broader litigation context we offer leading counsel to conduct expert cross-examination of witnesses and to present oral submissions in all manner of hearings in the UK and other common law jurisdictions. Such cases include international arbitrations, professional disciplinary proceedings, health and safety, corporate manslaughter, matrimonial work, VAT tribunals, and libel and defamation. Leading counsel is habitually supported by junior counsel specialising in the field.
