Martin worked for a local branch of the CPS before joining what is now their Proceeds of Crime Unit. He then spent several years at Furnival Chambers as their Asset Forfeiture Practice Manager before teaming up with the founder members and setting up the Chambers at 33 Chancery Lane.

Chris joined 33 Chancery Lane as Deputy Practice Director in 2012, having gained many years’ experience, originally at a top Family set in Oxford followed by a leading Chancery set in Lincoln's Inn.

Prior to his career as a clerk, Chris worked as Sales Director for a nationwide IT firm.
